Biography

Dr. Abdul Hameed is an Associate Professor at the College of Molecular Medicine, Ziauddin University, Karachi, Pakistan, with a Ph.D. and postdoctoral training in Japan. He leads the Molecular Diabetology and Endocrinology research group.  Dr. Hameed has received many national and international awards in recognition of his scientific contributions to diabetes and endocrinology.  He is the recipient of the JES Excellent Award for Outstanding Scientific Work in 2018 and the AASD Investigator Award in 2019, both in Japan. Through his research, teaching, and academic leadership, he contributes to advancing Molecular Medicine for the understanding and management of diabetes and endocrine disorders
